Hello, Friends of Van Buren!

Want to help Van Buren students learn? The Educational Foundation of Van Buren Community Schools was created in 1995 to do just that!

The Educational Foundation of Van Buren Community Schools was founded as a private non-profit, 501(c)3 corporation in response to significant budget cuts the district has been required to make due to declining revenues.   This foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees made up of residents of the school district.  This volunteer staff donates their time and energies so that Van Buren students may benefit from every available advantage in the classroom.

Through mini-grants, scholarships and restricted funds we have accomplished this mission by accepting donations from any and all and have contributed more than $93,000 to Van Buren Schools!

Here is a partial list of mini-grant materials purchased by the foundation:

  • CPR packets
  • White boards
  • Acoustic guitar stands
